Reward or punishment

God alone is great, and only He can bestow truly great recompenses, In hell there is divine punishment, in heaven Divine reward.

If you have the good fortune, my child, to save your soul, you will see the Lord. You will possess and love Him, and never grow weary of seeing, possessing, and loving him, for though He is ever the same in Himself He is always new to the blessed. (The Imitation of Mary)

The Church needs you now more than ever

Mary, the Mother of God, is also our wonderful Mother, a gift from God Himself.  Like all mothers, Mary is there to help us, draw us closer to herself, which ultimately brings us to her Son.

As the true Mother that you are, your Church needs you now more than ever. We ask that you take our precious prayers, purify them and hand them to Jesus.

St. Louis Marie DeMonfort puts it this way, “It is as if a poor peasant, wishing to win the friendship and favor of the king, were to go the queen and give her an apple - his only possession - for her to offer it to the king.

The queen, accepting the peasant's humble gift, puts it on a beautiful golden dish and presents it to the king on behalf of the peasant. The apple in itself would not be a gift worthy of a king, but presented by the queen in person on a dish of gold, it becomes fit for any king.” That’s what the saints and our Blessed Mother do for those who believe.

The surest and fastest way to Jesus is through Mary. Yes, it is through Mary we find true life, and that life is Jesus Christ, the Way, the Truth, and the Life.  Let Mary be your guide to the narrow path.

Mary, Mother of God, and Mother of our Church, pray for us, pray for your Church. Bring new light upon the darkness that we see.

The Queen of all

Today is the beautiful feast of our Blessed Mother's flight into heaven,  The Feast of the Assumption , and is a reminder for all of us that entrance into heaven is purity of heart. It is being free from sin with a focus on God alone. Can you imagine the peacefulness of watching The Mother of God taken up into heaven. Can you imagine the great joy of that union with God, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. And that is the great truth, that we were all created with that purpose in mind, our union with our God.

So, today we pray for her intercession, to plead for our mercy to a merciful God. We keep our eyes on this Immaculate creation of God and we know with great faith, she will guide us and strengthen us towards our heavenly goal. Queen of heaven pray for us!

It's not in this world

"He who knows Jesus despises all else, and the world means nothing any longer to them who have tasted the sweetness of Jesus' love" - The Imitation of Mary

Our True Model

And as Jesus hung dying on the Cross He said some of the most inspiring and everlasting words, Woman behold thy son, to John he said behold thy mother. Jesus, at that moment gave his beautiful mother to us as our Mother. All out of love for us.

And Mary remains and forever will remain our Mother, and we should go to her always in prayer, because She brings us to Jesus in our prayers. One is so at ease when near one’s mother.  With her everything becomes easier, the weary, discouraged heart, disturbed by storms, finds new hope and strength and continues on with this life with new strength and courage.

Mary is our model, Mary is our guide. And she comes to us when we call. Mary is love and our protection.

St. Bernard tells us, “if the winds of temptation arise, if you run into the reefs of trials, look to the star, call upon Mary.  In danger, sorrow, or perplexity, think of Mary, call upon Mary”.

The Duty of the Apostolate

The Duty of the Apostolate

O Jesus, You have accepted me as a member of Your Msystical Body, grant that I may not be in it as a stranger, but that I may work for the good of all my brethren.
St Theresa of the Child Jesus said, "How happy I would be if, at the hour of my death, I could have a single soul to offer You! There would be a soul snatched from the fire of hell to bless You for all eternity"
